Will it help if i trow a big public concert out somewhere.
Any other ideas?

Well, i'm a DJ, and i can tell ya that it's not quite as easy as people think. Sure, a BIG concert might spawn some evil lol....but, that's not reall 100% Guaranteed. Record labels, AKA: Evil lol...want to know that you'll be able to sell (Cause they want the money), so, having a loyal fan base helps. Basically, start performing your butt off, see if you can get on an opening act bill for bigger bands, that's where some start. Bars help tons too...any community even that there's TONS of people (At least in the hundreds of thousands) will also help.
Contact A&R reps, let 'em know where you'll be - have a couple dates lined up. If you're lucky, they'll come and see ya perform, and see what you have to offer.
