Well since you said that you were late and your period came, I am thinking that the chunk is actually just a blood clot - which happens because your period came later than usual. The blood in your uterus is actually tissue lining your uterus - when it is there for awhile, the blood gets old and starts to clot or get chunky. So when it finally came out, there were some blood clots that looked chunky. It's really normal.

If you were pregnant and had a positive confirmation of your pregnancy, then you had bleeding and chunky clots in the discharge, then you could have a very early miscarriage, and it will most likely proceed on its own in a natural way.

I am guessing though that you were not pregnant and that you're period was just late due to the heavy lifting that you have been doing. Physical stress or strenuous activity can delay your menstrual period from coming. it's normal, and your cycle will most likely correct itself on its own.

Goodluck!

It is not uncommon to have period after you get prego like the one you explained. Unfortunately it sound also like you may have been prego but you body decided it was the right time explaining the clot. Sometimes though you have a small cycle with clots. Best idea get a test 8 days is plenty then go to the DR if you feel things just are not right.

well maybe your cycle was late due to the heavy lifting. You might need to consider lifting less this could cause you to have a very serious problem in the future. Like hysterectomy. And you really don't want that. just watch what you do for the next month and if the bleeding is longer than normal go to the Dr.

If you were 8 days late and now you're having an unusual flow, you should take a home pregnancy test just to be sure either way. It's possible that you're pregnant, but it's also possible that your period is just weird this month for any number of reasons. It could also be a very early miscarriage. The only way to know for sure is to take a test.

Well for a teenager its normal to have a weird period. Birth control helps that and calms ur period down. Get checked by a doctor and if u don't want to do that get a home pregnancy test.

Do not take medical advice from an anonymous online population. Go to the Doctor or a health professional.

thats normal in females due to the fact that your period came later than usual that what you saw happens to be a part of the uterus wall that is being broken down due to the fact that your egg has not been fertilized.i know because it happened to me,well if you feel that it is not that i think that you should get a check up just in case. the only difference with my experience is that it was small.

the chunk may just be from the heavy lifting but I would go to the Dr, just to be sure, rather be safe than sorry, good luck

clot sizes vary with every woman... so i really wouldnt worry about it.. also you were lifting something heavy so that could be the culprit... also stressing could contribute to that too..
