I guess it depends on what the parents think.Although for some pants, or dresses thongs are needed , but if there used just for sex appeal I think the girl should be at least 16.

I'm confused both by the questions and answers.
We're not talking about a strap-on here... why would there be an age to panties?
I've been wearing thongs since I was a teenager because I have NO butt and regular panties just hang uncomfortably off my backside :-P
If the question is really how old does a girl have to be before she can wear a thong for all to see with her pants half way down her butt... Well, then I'm going to say that's up to her pimp, cause girls who show off their underwear are whores.
Otherwise... no one can see it. It's under clothes. It's a comfort issue. Who cares.

There is no right or wrong answer to this question. Everyone has their own opinion. I started wearing thongs when I was 15. It really depends on you and what your parents think about it. If you feel that you're ready to wear a thong, ask your parents and get their view about it.

If you know what a thong is.. than you are old enough... although your parents probably won't think so!! but seriously thongs are not that comfortable and always end up sticking out of your tight *** pants... just where some "really nice" regular underwear.. they have bikini cut and all that stuff.... victorias secret is my favorite!!

well in todays society it seems like the grls keep getting younger and younger. and i think that is wrong. i didnt start wearing thongs until this year and im 17. and even then i dont even wear them..
