We were only at war with Iraq during Desert Storm. We mopped that little mess up and got out. As far I know, that's the only time we were at war with Iraq.

You've been Saddam Hussein's enemy since 1990, when he decided to nationalize Iraq's oil fields.
Before that year, the US government actively helped Saddam Hussein to stay in power, sold him weapons (while selling them to Iraq's enemy, Iran, at the same time, covertly), and ignored the fact that the sick f*ck called Saddam was gassing his own population.
As always, western foreign policy remains guided solely by the economic interests of its corporations.

Let me clarify; we are NOT at war with Iraq we are at war with the INSURGENTS in Iraq. We have been at war with the insurgents since 2002 I believe.
