I'm not sure why so many magazines were given out free for so long. Car & Driver, Road & Track, Home Magazine and many business oriented mags. I know some are associated with Hachette from France. Isn't that company associated with Saddam Hussein?

It's a new program launched by the Adminstration to track your reading habits. You should flip through all the magazines and make sure no microscopic bugs are planted and check the staples. If that checks out notice the content matter it may lean toward a political bias of some sort it could be an attempt to plant unfriendly Adminstration propaganda. If that's the case burn in as swear loudly and praise the Adminstration so when the FBI comes to arrest you it's on record your gung-ho American. Lastly and most likely it's a ploy by these companies to get you to purchase subscriptions to there magazines. What will happen ? They will start sending you bills at the end of the free trial and you'll have a hell of time finding out how to cancel them. If that's not it don't worry if Saddam owned their parent company because we own it now. God Bless America.

I don't know about the Saddam Hussein thing, but I know I would be very leary of receiving anything free. You better check to make sure this offer is free or if you will be expected to pay something or do something in exchange for receiving two years worth of magazines.
