My friend was saying that there was no fingerprints on the gun but he shot himself with his toe, he was hyped up on heroin and didn't shoot himself but that's not true and he said that Courtney Love killed him but i know she's not that smart to get away with something like murder

Legally - he committed suicide. A lot of people believe, however, that he was actually murdered, most likely by his wife, Courtney Love. One reason people believe this is because some doctors have said that Kurt Cobain would not have been able to pull the trigger on his gun, having taken as many pills as he had. The site I have listed as a source has a lot more information.
Personally, I believe he did actually commit suicide. He pulled the trigger of the gun with his own foot. There was certainly enough evidence of this that police agreed. Most people who say that he was murdered are just angry at Courtney Love, for some reason.

this is a hard q? to answer because all the of what we are told is that he killed him self but if you look in to it just a little bit. on the web. at Justice for Kurt it will tell you that at the time of his Rome suicide attempt that he made Courtney a were that he wanted a divorce. and some believe that this was the firs unsuccessfully attempt on Kurt's life. but there is more that just this however. he was not locked in he's room the chair was just in the middle of two door ways. and if kurt did that much H. he would not be able to to role up he's shirt sleeves. and pick up the shoot gun. courtny killed him with help.

There's a theory out there that the shotgun was too far away from Cobain when they found his body, and also that he couldn't have had the reach it would've required to point the gun at himself. The theory states that Courtney Love, his wife, killed him. But nobody knows for sure (I tend to agree that it was suicide).

Courtney did it! Kurt was quoted as saying he had some new music in the works, and Courtney was using him for a status boost. You don't kill yourself if you've got new material. You do it after it is recorded, if at all. Also, check out Courtney's behavior pattern after his death, she totally capitalized on it. She went on this drug binge and lived it up almost immediately. There was no love there, she just took what he had to give and ran away with it.

Officially he killed himself but there is some discrepancies at the crime scene. My husbands dad was in Washington at the time of his death and the local news station said there was conflicting evidence. Also there was a show on cable tv about whether or not he could've been killed. They even implicated Courtney Love.

It was murder. you people know nothing about his death. I mean his blood morphine level was so high (3 times the lethal dose)he was either incapacitated or dead before the gunshot. with 1 lethal dose he would have been incapacitated within seconds, let alone 3. and there werent any fingerprints on the gun. oh, and the fact that he was not suicidal, songs are just songs, but his real friends have been interveiwed and it was found that he was most likely not the least bit suicidal

He was high on drugs and may have accidentally shot himself. Either way, it was him that shot himself, and I think it was with a shotgun, which means there wasn't much left.
Anyway you can trust my answer because I'm from Washington. I've even visited Aberdeen a few times, his hometown, although I only went there to go to the beach. I'm not a fan of his, but I know that some fans actually killed themselves when they heard of his untimely death.

There was never any conclusive evidence but I don't think Courtney was around then and I don't think any mother would have taken such a risk, unless she thought it was best for Frances Bean(yes really, for people who didn't know, that is really her name) not to know her dad was like that. Well anyway, most of the evidence points to suicide and that was the final verdict.

He actually did kill himself. Even though there are some theories that Courtney killed him, in high school Kurt wrote that his dream was to become a famous rock star and kill himself at the height of his career.

This is a very common question actually.It is said that Kurt killed himself.But many angry Hole and Nirvana fans blamed Courtney Love (his wife) of murdering him.Honestly i dont believe she would kill him.Either way i hope Kurt is happy wheever he is now, i and so many other people love him so deeply.
