Is it true that height, weight,muscle build, ethnicity, body type/shape, and age are all key factors to determining a persons ideal weight? If so, what would be the ideal weight for a 14 yr. old, 5'7'' tall, 141 lbs.,hour-glassed figured, medium framed, African-American girl? Or do u have a website I could go to to figure it out on my own?

You have to keep in mind that the BMI does not account for muscle weight. And 130 is not the ideal weight- it's actually a middle healthy weight. At 5'7", you can weigh up to 150 pounds, if you are larger framed, and still be considered in the healthy range.
At 14, you should talk to your doctor about your health. If he thinks that you could lose some weight or that you need to start watching your weight so that you don't get too heavy in the future, he will tell you.

I'd say around 130 would be the ideal weight for you. My sister is 5'7, black, and pretty much the same shape as you are. I know that around 120 is underweight because she weighed that much when she was 14. So I'd think that the 130 or maybe no more than 5 lbs. more would be the ideal weight.

If you're 5'7" with an hourglass figure, I think the weight you listed is probably just about right.

You should just get your body fat percentage tested, and if it is in the healthy range then that is all that matters.

you should try seventeen. com they have a bmi test, which would tell you if your weight is healthy or not.
