Usually, the cooler you try to be in high school, the less cool you will actually be, since other people will only see how cool you're trying to be instead of the person you actually are, whether that person is cool or not.
Coolness only means something when you're at an impressionable age (like high school), and care what other people think about you, even if those same people could care less what you think about them.
The only way being cool has any meaning is if it means to be yourself and nothing else.

Being cool in high school is not what you should think about. High School is only four years of your life man. If you spend all your effort trying to be cool in High School, what would be left of you after graduation? I suggest study hard.
Work towards being cool after school. If you got the money, you're cool. Trust me on this one. Study hard and make that cash! Forget High School man! You can get chicks in college and at work! Think about buying Mazda 3's and the latest iPods and going to Laker games and buying all the crap you can buy and think about all the "cool people" when you WERE in high school buying broke down cars and living in trailers.. hehehe..
That's why i conclude. Study hard in school man. I know i did. Now i got the girl and the cash.

High School is complicated enough as it is... u shouldn't really stress about being "cool" ... But if anything just be real to yourself and things should work out for the better... Hey it works for me ;p

don't worry about being cool in high school, worry bout being cool for the rest of your life, get good grades go to college and have lots of money to be cool with :-)
