It’s psychological… some of them are disturbed and still pass the psyche test for some odd reason.
Other then that they are Dogs of the Military, they take orders or get punished themselves by the higher-ups that gave those orders…
If those orders are to torture people they will do it or face conciquences themselves (it's them or the other, they just pick the other to get it instead)
I support the troops (the people/individuals), but I will admit they are Dogs that Take ORDERS.

Nice guilty until proven innocent. So you support the troops but won't give them the benefit of the doubt. Listen, if this happened as reported then those responsable deserve time in an Iraqi prison. On the other hand we don't really know what happened. We only know what's been charged. Is it possable that the terrorists know that everytime there's a charge like this is it gets huge press, and support for the troops goes down? Is it possable that some or many of the reports like this are psychogical warfare perpetrated against us? Could be.

I will tell you what I think: I think that this should not be in the news. The military should take care of it privately and every time somebody wants to accuse our soldiers it is just put all over the news. Who knows if they are guilty, but I don't think it should be public.. They are under terrible conditions and have a horrible job to do and I don't think that they should be judged in the news..
If you are going to take them to a military court then all the members of the jury should have at least one term of duty in Iraq and let them judge the people, but PRIVATELY..
Our troops must be supported in what they are doing, they didn't ask for this..

I don't think there's ever been a war (especially one fought in cities and stuff) where this kind of stuff doesn't happen. It's inevitable. You've got kids who are in the worst situation possible. They (the soldiers) are young, they're thousands of miles from home, they watch their friends die & get limbs blown off, they're in a foreign country where some people are their friends and others are their enemies, but all of them (friends & enemies) LOOK exactly alike, they're on-edge from months of tension, they're under-staffed & don't have the proper equipment and it's hot as steamed ****. I'm not making excuses, but this could make anyone snap. It's ******' war!
Also, like the vietnam war, I think many of the soldiers there are like, "I signed up to PROTECT MY COUNTRY. Why the hell am I in this foreign country? This isn't about protecting America, this is about some fat politician playing games with people's lives!" and this makes it all worse!

I haven't read the story, but I have heard people talking. As Americans, their will be a trial. Just remember, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. We don't know if they were set up or not. It's war!!! Not all is fair in love and war.

I think that those people are just sick with or without the army, but you cant judge all the soldiers because of those two or three.

You read it, so you believe it? If you were accused you'd screaming bloody murder about presumed innocence.
