Well 99% of people are terrifing of the IRS, people tell me that even FBI Agencies doesn't compare with the Panic they feel when receiving a letter form the IRS?

the irs has power above the law to take anytime without due process. the only thing is very few people know the secrets to the irs and can stop them in their tracks. they are the only government agency that has never been audited. they use their power to scare when they have less power than you think if you know the laws and ways to deal with them.

Well, they can do one thing the FBI generally can't do and that's reach into your pocketbook and remove it's contents. In other words they can break you financially. Only the courts can fine you into bankruptcy...the IRS can audit you into that same state. Big difference cause you don't even get your day in court...sometimes you can "appeal" an audit decision, but who hears the "appeal"...not an impartial third party agency but the IRS, so one can see why people are afraid, very afraid of them.

.. I personally am not affraid of the IRS .. I used to have to do work with them. I think most people just feel that they are in trouble. Mostly because ... you can get into serious problems if you have messed up or lied on something. I don't think people should fear them or the FBI honestly.
