If it's just mp3s you're trying to put in it's easy. Put your memory stick in the computer (I'm assuming this isn't the Duo the PSP came with because you can hardly put anything on that, so it should have a Memory Stick Duo Adaptor w/ it that'll let it fit into your MemStick Slot...hope you have one...:P) open it up if you've formatted it in your PSP there should be a PSP/Music folder there if there isn't then make one then just drag and drop. Easy as pie. I believe if you connect your PSP to the PC via a cable this should still work. I just don't do it that way so I can't be too sure.

Connect PSP to computer using a USB sync cable that you'll have to buy since it does not come with the PSP, it is the same cord you use for the Motorola V3 RAZR cellphone. Then you copy the MP3's you want to listen to to PSP/MUSIC folder on your psp memory card. It should tell you how to do all of this in the manual that came with your PSP.

Hook up a usb cord to your psp to the computer then open up the folders, then create a new folder name MUSIC in capital letters then just put the music in that folder

You have to get a special cord from the store and use it.
