My professor has assigned me an essay in which I must persuade my reader that television violence leads to aggressive and violent tendencies and behavior in today’s youth. To support my thesis I have decided to make mention about recent school shootings, as many “experts” blame the media for teenagers’ decisions to carry and use guns to resolve their problems. However, I do not desire to make it seem that the media is the only reason that today’s youth is evolving such behavior, I want to know what other people think about the whole thing. Do you agree that the media is to blame or do you think and believe that there is some other factor that has yet to be explored?

Parents seem to have less of a clue about what their children are doing. They are totally "separated" from them though they live in the same house.
They don't know their friends and the childs room is a self supporting island (phone, TV, Computer, fridge) with no other family interaction. Everyone doing his own thing.

The bad guys prefer unarmed victims!!.
When seconds matter calling 911 and asking the bad guy to wait is not a viable option.
Better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!!
**Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens.**
So you are against the private ownerships of gun! Do you believe in fire extinguishers? Why, you can always call the fire department!!

rite now im a student at passaic high nd ive seen students myself bring in guns to skool me it alil bit of the media fault cuz it makes teens think that if sombody shows them up they hav 2 teach them a lesson not only 2 that person but 2 every1 else that they not no punk!!!nd fact is that most schools lik mine( that r surrounded by gangs nd angry kids that think they got somtin 2 prove) let the weapons into the skool cuz they refuse 2 put up money 4 metal detectors
