Can I hear from people from Iraq. I don't need morons telling me how bad it is over there. It was bad to begin with. Most of the world is bad. Terrible things happen all over the world because of MURDERING DICTATORS, OR POWER HUNGRY OPRESSORS. The whole USA needs to get behind and support the President whoever he is, as long as he's trying to uplift America, not tear it down.

Who gets to decide if the President is lifting up America or tearing it down? I volunteer - the President is lifting up. Does that help you?

Well, I am not Iraqi...I am an American and say that we've power hungry opressors in this country. It's just fortunate that I can say that without being dead. Basically that's the difference between here and other countries. Our power hungry opressors haven't been able to take away our right to free speech. If that ever falls by the way side watch out for your ****!!!

What they think is different from what is reported. A few things - public and easy to find.
Jason Adams served in Iraq and letters he wrote home were compiled into a book - it's called "ACTIVE DUTY: Letters To Home From Iraq".
Another one is singer Luke Stricklin - who came home to find a song he sent home was being played..."American By God's Amazing Grace" is the title cut from the CD.
Hearts N Minds (you can find them at myspace) are over there now doing songs about the experience.

I tend to believe them, having BEEN there, rather than people sitting behind armed guards over here. Many are much better off and grateful for the help. Of course no one wants the violence. The courage of a few people mentioned in Jason's book puts a whole different perspective on things. I never met Lenny but for the pages of this book...but won't forget him.

I would assume that most Iraqis have more important things to deal with then answer our questions. Especially since for the past 15 yrs ago we have spent our hard earned dollars to destroy their country.

But good question......maybe someone shouldve thought to ask them BEFORE we began annihilating that area of the world.

80% of the country is rubble.
some iraqis wanna believe the US government and are hoping for a better country and some see the truth behind the US invasion and know for a fact that things arent gonna be better and hate the americans guts and fighting back.
this is how the iraqis feel.
not to mention the civil war thats going on. thanks to bush!!

I think they need electricity to get the internet... insurgents love to knock it out all the time...

as to the second part of your question... have you ever seen someone trying to do something, but doing a very poor job? Should you support him in that endeavor or try to correct him?
