I agree, that there is too much racism in this world. It's not as bad as it used to be, with huge membership in organizations such as the KKK, and an overall caution to all things different. But still today, in the year 2006, we have it. It isn't really a huge crisis, but, I mean, there is still an underlying racism in EVERYONE. Including you, me and people who say they are "unbiased". For example, there is stereotyping. Some people may assume that the Latino person they see walking down the street in San Diego just ran the border and is unemployed. Really they are a pediatrician who makes 70 grand per year. There is also underlying racism, like on TV shows such as Friends and Seinfeld, almost every major character was a WASP, White Anglo-Saxon Person. Minorities rarely ever appeared. Racism is a problem which can't be solved by quick fix band-aids. The entire world must change its opinion.

That's why, when I had children, I raised them to believe that there were no different colors in the world, only shades of gray; that all people could be friends and get along. I taught them that we are all from the human race, that where our ancestors came from doesn't mean anything; that what really matters is who you are inside. I did something about the racism and I honestly feel that is the only way to stop it.

I agree but people will never just get along. for the simple reason of that we are different. People fear and question that which is different from them. I believe if we all had mutual respect for each other the world would be a far better place but people are to lazy and self centered for that or they just don't care.
It is our differences that make the human race beautiful. If everyone on earth look and thought like everyone else what type of world would it be?

Racism is kinda just human nature. If everyone wasnt racists, every single thing would be our equal; rabbits, frogs, lions, bears, spiders. We would learn to love. Really love.
We are racists everyday agaisnt races other than humans (and humans), and although its sad, something will eventually give.
And yes, racism bores me, the topic is played out.

It's human nature to criticize or label others. It's up to the minority to accept the racism or not. Racism exists. How one reveals himself/herself in its presence, makes the difference.
