Since last July, you may have noticed that for whatever reasons, you are a bit more cut off from your social network than usual. The past two years may have taught you some rough lessons about those in your social circle, so this period of re-adjustment is not only usual, but necessary. For 2006 and the first part of 2007, Saturn is moving through your 12th house. This is a time when your energy is best focused inwardly, in order to attune yourself to your deepest desires and wishes.
Virgo, you have a quiet dignity about you that in some can manifest itself as shyness, while in others as a reserved nature, or at least a lack of pushiness. You tend to prefer to let relationships and events naturally unfold, instead of barging into other people’s lives and taking what you can get, pell mell. You can be very critical of yourself, and worry needlessly about if what you are doing is correct or not. Throughout 2006, if you feel a need to pull back or be on your own, do not beat yourself up for it, nor worry that you are being too shy. This period is best served by getting in touch with who you really are, and what you really want so that you can thereby actualize them.
You have a very sharp mind and often need to rationalize what is going on, but 2006 is a time to let the subconscious take over and sort things out.
In fact in 2006, social life may be the furthest thing from your mind, as work-related tasks and home/family issues come to the forefront. This allows you to turn your energy to the things that really matter to you and to construct a firm life foundation. Often Virgo, due to your giving nature, you end up doing more for others than yourself, and are left empty-handed at the end of the day. 2006 will see that the energy you expend goes towards building something solid for you that serves as a base and harbor. There is nothing wrong with this, so enjoy the fruits of your labour.
Work will be taking up a lot of your time, and you may be wondering if you are on the right path. There may be issues on the job-front that are unclear, or you may be deceived or promised things in exchange for your labour that don’t come through in the end. Make sure you get everything you can in writing and read the fine print carefully. Don’t allow yourself to be exploited into working more hours for no personal gain and make sure everything is included in your paycheck.
Also you may be feeling this year the pull between the work and service you are doing for others, and your own needs. If you feel overworked, do not block out these feelings, but do not throw the baby out with the bathwater. 2006 is a time for re-adjusting and fine-tuning your inner-psyche, getting in touch with what you really want to do with your life. It is a time of endings, not beginnings. This is good to know, as it allows you to properly prepare yourself for late 2007, when you can finally launch new projects and a whole new astrological life cycle begins. You are presently at the end of a 30-year cycle so close it out gracefully, and use this time for research into how you want to launch the new you next year. If you want to strike out in business for yourself, start the research process now, and start closing out the things that are no longer necessary, but wait for September 2007 to make the definitive break or launch.
From now until the beginning of 2008, you can see your home and family life transform. This may cause you to feel some anxiety as to whether these changes are the proper ones, but let go and let the changes occur on their own. Sometimes when we stop worrying, things start to flow naturally and sort themselves out on their own accord.

Year 2006 Overview
Provided by Astrology.com
Scorpio
You won't easily forget 2005, Scorpio, for a host of mostly positive reasons, and 2006 will be much the same. In fact, right from the start -- thanks to a burst of energy straight from Jupiter -- you'll be active, busy and amazingly passionate. The best part is that just about everyone (including and especially the powers that be) will be not only open to your ideas, but also eager and anxious to know what's on your mind and in your heart. For the first two months of the year, you'll be able to talk just about anyone into just about anything -- even if you've already tried and failed in the past. Keep that in mind, regardless of whether your aims are personal, platonic or professional. Basically, you'll be logically lethal until the middle of March; even then, the odder the situation, the easier it will be for you to present it to anyone and everyone as perfectly normal. Right around the solar eclipse at the end of March, you may even be able to talk someone into sponsoring a venture that will put you in charge of your own business. Needless to say, finances won't be terribly difficult for you to manage for most of 2006 -- your superiors will be practically in love with you, and even more infatuated with your work performance.
Speaking of infatuation, be careful during September and October. A 'casual' flirtation could turn into something far more serious around that time. Of course, if you're single and the feelings are mutual, forget being casual -- be intense! (It's your specialty, after all.) If you're happily attached, be even more intense. Your partner will be delighted to get closer to you, to listen to your deepest thoughts and secret emotions, and to share their own, as well.
In addition to giving of yourself, you'll want to give back in other ways toward the end of the year. If you're inclined to spoil your loved ones with material things, especially during December, think of what your mailbox may be filled with come February. Instead of objects, fill your life and the lives of everyone around you with enriching experiences.
