i don't think there is anything wrong with a girl asking a guy out.
i mean, some one has to make the first move, specially if the girl know the guy likes her but he's just too shy.
it's happened to me.
besides, it shows that she is not shy about HER feelings and has no problems expressing herself to the guy she really likes, which the guy will take as a sign of serious romance.

no. I think with women seeking to become equal to men, they should be equal in traditional ways as well. They can ask guys out, etc. No need to keep women down in some areas.
