Rome is undoubtedly one the most beautiful cities in the world; annually countless tourists result from around the world to respect the gifts and projects of Roman artwork and architecture and to be one of them you will have to start with Hotelbye . One of the very famous of Rome's many sections is Piazza Navona. This place preserves the design of the Stadium of Domitian that once stood here. I think it was called Cul-de-Sac. Thousands of different wines!

The worst restaurant in Rome is this teahouse by the Spanish Steps where I paid 7 freakin' Euros for a cup and a half or so of tea, and three times that for bad penne.

If you stand with your back to the pantheon and look at the square (piaza) its the restaurant on your left hand side (cant remember name). Fantastic food at a reasonable price considering you are eating in such a popular venue.

I was married in Rome and had a fantastic time there.

Il Baccaro in Piazza degli spagnioli, fabulous setting away from the heat, great service and very good food. If for dinner, better to book in advance
