I went out with a guy for a while--about 9 months--and I totally should have broken up with him at like, 1 month. But for some reason, I didn't, and when he broke up with me it was like someone had cut off one of my legs it hurt so bad. I cried so hard the first night, my mom gave me some kodine to knock me out...lol. It didn't work. I thought I was going to die. But you know what? I didn't! That was two years ago! A few months later I met the man of my dreams, who treats me like gold, and I couldn't be happier. The moral of this story is...don't let the loss of a relationship cloud your vision; it might be blinding you to something much more beautiful in the future. Just take every day as it comes; breathe in, and breathe out. There's nowhere to go from the bottom but up!

Yes. She is my ex through a divorce. I'm in therapy because I feel all screwed up. Discovered through therepy that the reason I felt that she is the "end all" was that I was codependent. It's not the divorce itself that has me all screwed up, it's the fact I built my world around her and she is me "end all". So what I had wasn't a "syndrome" but codependency.

Life happens, and you meet another person that suceeds over last one's mistakes.

Been there, takes some time but eventually happens.
