Hey girl friend I know what you are going though. I stop working in 2003 after I had my child. At that time my husband was working paying on the bills, as I attended school to get my degree which I will be getting in August of this year it was rough. My husband and I fuss all the time cause I don't have a job. But now I do have a professional job in Human Service. Tell me do you clean and cook when he comes home? I'm just asking because if nothing is doing around the house they tend to get upset. Just keep looking for work, and let him see that you are looking for a job, even if it's a interview you not interesting in just go and apply.

You don't have to stand there and take it from him. Tell him plainly once more, that it's not your fault for losing your job. If he stills comes home like that, then give him some space, and you some space as well.
Get away from the home, and go visit some family or friends. Just give each other some room to breath. If you don't won't to do that. then go out every day from home, or every other day. Do some errands, and try to find another job on the side.
Tell him, that you are tired of him coming home in that mood. It could make him mad, cause what been paid by two is down to one now. He could been so use to that way, he don't won't to change it.
Then again, he could then well since you have no job. Then you won't do nothing, or least try to find a another. Let him know, you don't sit on your butt and let the day go on. You are his wife, and he needs to respect your feelings.Losing a job hurts you and the bills, but him doing that makes it even worster.

First of all, you must understand the stress that he is under. He feels bad that he can't take care of you like he should be able to without you help. Lack of money makes some people do some crazy stuff.
That said let him see you actively looking for work. While you are looking for work, make sure that everything is as it should be at home, clean house, meals cooked (breakfast, lunch and dinner), also make sure that he doesn't have to worry about things that need to be done around the house. Try to make things as pleasant as possible. When you see his anger flare, just walk away with out saying anything at all. In short love him to kindness.

stop apologizing to him if u r doing that. just give a little space, look for another job. after that wait for him to come to you. he has to figure out BY HIMSELF that it was not your fault that u lost your job.

Perhaps you should tell him that some men provide well enough so their wife doesn't HAVE to work.
