Can some one tell me why evertime I try to use these the blade will spin but there is no power behind it and it won't edge? Let me know I think it might be striped but not sure any imput?

I'm going to assume that this is an electric trimmer/ edger, and if it is, and it's a direct drive, (that is the blade shaft is the end of the motor armature shaft), then there's a good possibility that the armature has burned several segments of the commutator and can't generate anywhere near the RPM's and torque that is needed to do the trimming or edging. It may still spin, although probably not as fast as it did, but it will have NO POWER. If it's a belt drive then the belt may be worn and slipping.

There should be a lock washer between the blade & the bolt head.
