In the final episode of Roseanne Becky is supposed to end up with David and Mark is supposed to be with Darlene. How is this possible because when Becky first meet Mark he was like 17 and Darlene was like 13. That has been bugging me and also is a bit creepy

Well I took it just to mean that just basically replace Mark with David and vise versa in all the scenes. So in the episode where Becky meets Mark, it is actually David. I didn't like the ending. I seem to remember hearing that Roseanne just wanted to end the show "her way" and that was the result. It was suppose to be a sit-com and the last episode made me sad and depressed. Dan dead? No lottery? Bllahhh -- horrible end to a pretty good show.

David was with Darlene and Mark was with Becky, but Roseanne admitted that she had dreamed everything since Darlene and David's wedding, because Dan had died of a heart attack that day and she fantisized that he cheated on her instead of dying on her. The whole winning the lottery, saving Wellman, hobnobbing with the Rich and Famous was all a dream.

She said that she was writing a story and fixing things like she wanted them to be, because she thought Mark and Becky should go together, and David and Darlene should be together.

Mark was with Becky and David was still with Darlene and their baby.

It was all a book Roseanne was writing in the end. She made things the way she wanted them to be. It left out the real life things in order to do the show according to her book. Just liked Dan had really died when he had a heart attack but in Roseanne's book he was still alive. In the end she revealed the real truth outside of her book.
