Klose kneed Abbondanzieri in the ribs, so they had to take him out because of an injury (for which the germans did not even get penalized for!!), and they scored that goal on the 80th minute because Franco was not on the same level Abbondanzieri had, so he was unable to catch that ball, and then the penalties.
that referee should get fired for making such horrible calls, and not making some calls he should have made..

Well I sort of feel some sympathy for the goalie. Most goalies have the full match to work their way into the game and feel comfortable in their goal area if it comes down to extra time and penalty shootouts. He was kind of thrown in at the deep end even though he is a capable player. He can only do what he can do and I'm sure he feels like crap. It is just sad that the bad day at work happened at this stage of the tournament. But both sides should be proud of their performance. I was sad they they had to meet in this round. I'm sure he tried his best though. It is easy for us to criticise from in front of the TV.

Abbondanzieri Crashed with Klose in mid-air just a foot away from the Goalpost and hurt himself badly in the waist. So he couldn't continue to play and that stupid substitutory Goalkeeper came in and took away Argentina's hope in the World Cup.

The #1 Goal Keeper suffered a Injury, and was substituted, it most likely was the downfall for Argentina's loss.

Ok, Abondanzieri got injured accidentally by Miroslav Klose, he kept on playing for some time, but then later he asked for a change, seems he got hit in the ribs, so they change the golie who plays in Atletico de Madrid.

He got injured after a collision in the 2nd half and was replaced. Abbondanzieri wouldn't have stopped Klose's header either, it was placed perfectly.
