Is the color blue of any significance? I could be misrembering but it looked like Clark's eyes changed from brown to blue when he took up the mantle of Superman again. And didn't his father mention something about blue in the Fortress of Solitude?

When Clark is himself his eyes are hazel, but when he becomes superman his eyes becomes blue.

No as Clark there hazel as superman blue, they change as some sort of identity things, like the eye color will throw lex luthor off..lol No significance..

I've heard that his eyes as Clark are hazel, and when he becomes Superman they turn blue-possibly contacts.

the only guess i have is that kryptonians don't have the genes for eye pigment the iris is clear and the back of the eye is blue this makes it look like a person has blue eyes but they probably just drew him that way and it has no real reason in the story
