I live in south OP. Deanna Rose Farmstead. Go there in the morning. You will enjoy it! Bring some quarters to feed the rabbits, fish, goats, etc. My girls just went there yesterday. It is south of 135th. St. down Switzer Rd. You can also go panning for semi-precious stones for a few bucks & go fishing with rental equipment & all provided there really cheap!
Another really fun thing to do in south OP is Paint, Gloss, & Fire or in old downtown OP, go to All Fired Up! It will cost you about $15 to make some pottery craft.
The July 4th celebration down in Stilwell is the greatest! Drive south down 69 HWY/Overland Parkway to 199th St. & turn left. Park at the gas station. That's where I'll be the night of July 4th. Hope to see you there!
If you like ice skating, go to Pepsi Ice Midwest at about 135th & Quivera. Or go to Power Play in Shawnee. It is a lot of fun!

an exceedingly good position to hangout in Overland Park is Fox and the Hound. it really is an upscale bar and grill. they have a great number of pool tables. the ambience is interesting. attempt it. that is on the west aspect of Metcalf between 103rd and 100 and fifth.
