Tell me, is it because youll racist? or is it because france beat brazil 3-0 in the 1998 world cup, or is it because france is talented?
France may not be the team they were back ago, but they can still put the pressure, just like when they beated spain 3-1. youll must be racist. and im not french, but they are a good team, one of the best in the world. look at their history.

I don't hate France, I like the country very much and go shopping there very often.
But to like France and to like its football players are two different things.
Most people prefer the football players of their homecountry. Remember, there are better teams than France!

France are three times world champs? At what sport? They've won just the one World Cup title.
People hate France soccer-wise because I think many think they are upstarts given their league is second-rate in many ways to the big three (La Liga, Serie A and EPL) and the fact the French are not well loved even among fellow Europeans.
As far as beating favored teams a lot. Depends of your definition of a lot and favored teams plus who cares about friendlies or stupid Confed Cup. Besides the match you quote between Brazil and France was 8 years ago...completely different lineups esp. on Brazil.
I'll give you they have had Italy and Brazil's number of late (both in 1986 and 1998) in WCs but have lost twice to West Germany in the knockout phases (1982 and 1986). So not bad but not exactly "a lot."

France hasn't WON anything...they BOUGHT their cup via the friendship between Pele and one of the French players..it is just soooo under the table that people looked right over it...if you have issues with this.. riddle me this...
1) Last time France was worth the price of admission? 1986 when they took 3rd over a weak Brasil team and they won on PSO...after being tied throughout...
2) Where was France in 1990? 1994? 2002? nowhere to be seen..good countries have a GOOD reputation..
3) France's 1998 group was as follows...Norway, Saudi Arabia and South Africa...please..don't kid yourself..there is a reason why they were 3-0..that said..THIS YEAR..they were in a group with Togo, Switzerland and Korea...and Pathetic France is the last team of that dismal group to go...AND they only won one of those games in group and beat Spain because they were showing up the Spanish coach for being an Idiot...and racially slurring Henry...sooo..they are a FAR stretch from the team they were in 1998...Zidane is at the end of his rope...and so is Ronaldo...but...Ronaldo has shown that he is not done yet..
4) Finally, I find it EXTREMELY interesting why Leonardo retired after only his FIRST World Cup tourney??? That is VERY odd...so did several other players, Coach Zagallo resigned and Dunga said that he would not be the captain of a team whose desire is to lose..if that doesn't say it...what possibly could????

France has talented players, nobody will question that, but they can't be considered one of the best teams inthe World having just won ONE World Cup, not 3. U can't compare France to World Champions Brazil, excuse me....5 TIME World Champion Brazil. I guess we'l wait till tomorrow to see tha remathc between the two.

France is real inconsistent, like the group matches against Switzerland and South Korea--they tend to get a little complacent after they have the lead. the best thing they can do with Brazil is be 1 goal down in the first half so they'll play their best in the 2nd, and hopefully win. France rocks!!

I think France is cool, I like how they play but they're not 3 time WC champs. They only won the World Cup once, and that was in 1998.

The last game France played was Great....and was great to see them back...The history I know against Brazil is Great too, I want them to beat the Brazilians which I believe they will...But that means they will play England in the semi Finals....Ha...That game..hmm the history between England V France?? is there any?

Hate to break it to you, but France havent been the world champions three times, theyve been world champions once. And why do you insist we are racist? Maybe we just dont like the French team because of the way they play?
