....I'm going to an audition tomorrow, I'm nervous, can someone give me some good advice or some words of encouragment to help me pull through?

Difficult as it is, try to focus upon the reason you started singing in the first place - namely, the creation of art as a means of self-expression.
In other words, you have something to say - about who you are, about the song you're trying to convey, about the emotion, the vibe - whatever it is, you're doing something very few can do - you're making music to say something about who you are.
You're going to keep creating no matter what happens with this audition. They're not going to take away the ability or the talent. So no matter how badly you want this gig, you don't NEED the gig to be validated as a singer and artist.
That may help a little to keep it all in the big perspective.
Past that, try to practice enough to nail the fundamentals. You have to be confident in the instrument before you can make it talk. Don't let insecurity about hitting "that" note or nailing "that" run get in the way...so practice until it's as much in the pocket as you can get it by tomorrow.
I'm a professional keyboard player, been to plenty of auditions - some I landed, some I didn't. But I learned from every one of them, and I'm a better artist for them all.
Go learn, and be confident as an artist.

1. Choose a song that suits your voice best not just what you like to sing. Song choice is paramount!
2. Know EVERY single lyric like how you feel your bones
3. Sing like you'll never get another chance. (In order to make it count!)
4. Sing with feeling and from your soul.
5. Imagine you are a star. What the mind believe it can achieve.
6. If your religious pray for strength.
7. Have a good night's sleep.
8. Go in with the attitude "What can't Kill me makes me stronger"
9. On the way to the audition count to 100 slowly in your mind. It will help calm you down.
10. Enjoy yourself and believe in your self. If you really want to make it this will be the end of the beginning. Not the beginning of the end no matter how it goes.

okay I'm a singer too and always nervous for an audition.now this is what you need to do. first just relax and breathe.then go listen to your favorite cd or take a quick nap to oget your nerves down then you can listen to the song you are about to perform so when get on stage to perform you won't mess up the words.other ideas are take a bubble bath or hot shower just 30 min. before you get ready to go. or you can even talk with your mom or some of your friends so you can just be relax or you can write down how you feel or just call me at 281-488-0120

Good luck! you can do it!!! and practice a lot. lol. don't waste too much of ur vioce. just do warm-ups before the audition. believe me, an audition's nothin. I had to sing in front of the whole school. Actually, 2 schools at once. I succeeded. lol. now people like me more.

What ever happens, don't try out for american idol. Stick to real auditions. Good luck!! I know you can do it. You're the best frigging singer in the state of (your state here) and nobody can dispute that. Show em what you got kid ;)

For get it's an audition. Just treat it like you're performing for fun in front of a group of people.

They want to hear your voice. Don't try to sound exactly like the original, your voice is the one they want to hear. Relax and remember all they want is a few moments of those lovely pipes. You just be yourself and give it all you got. Go get'em, Tiger. The world is ready for you now. Look in their eyes when you speak to them, look in their eyes when you sing. Show them you are ready too.

I wouldn't concentrate on the fact its an audition, just do what you love and concentrate on producing the best 'product' you can.

dont even go, it's a waste of your time...You wont make it. You sing but not good enough. Get all of these Ideas out of your head
