They used to, but now they don't. games and audio cds work but not dvds. it doesn't even read the disc at all. windows media player (what i use to play them) says 'no disc in drive.'

dvd's are not compatible. u either need a dvd-rom or a dvd-player. dvd's and cds are different

Since it used to play you must have the proper equipment to play DVD's.

I would recommend you go to the DVD manufactures site and download the latest drivers for your DVD player.

Because pcs have cd roms as well as dvd roms first see what u have U have a cd rom not a dvd rom

Most likely something wrong with the lens or drive electronics. Call a hardware guy.

try to clean your dvds befor putting them in your pc.
