Like if your in a relationship or friends with someone and they verbally abuse you, should you leave them.

Definitely, no one deserves that kind of disrespect. PLus, it takes such a toll on you physically and mentally. It's not worth it.

Yes, it will make you have low self esteem if they continually do it. Abuse doesn't have to be physical to hurt you inside but it seems to be the only pain people understand is hitting unless they have been through it. I just left my husband who is emotionally abusive and it was hard because he had me believing I couldn't make it on my own. Realized he is the one with the problem not me and I CAN make it alone.
