Limewire has been suggested to me a few times as a place to download music, but the idea of file sharing with everyone on the internet sounds kind of risky. Has anyone had anything bad happen using limewire?

Well, not exactly. However, in the Limewire program you can choose if you want people downloading your things. To prevent viruses, do not allow people to download items from your computer. There is also the risk of getting into a world of trouble if you are putting the files onto CDs or DVDs. i suggest logging or turning off internet when you put the files on a CD or DVD. Other than that, Limewire is awesome.

There are some viruses that are particular to Limewire. they are going to be named as something which you quite desire to get carry of and once you execute it, it acts like a corrupted document. you realize that this is got here approximately via fact once you next turn on your laptop, Limewire will load up and once you attempt and close it down, this is going to easily start up back. that's in case you do not have an endemic protector. in case you have an endemic protector, you need to no longer have a project, even though this is the fee you pay for downing something which you're predicted to pay for. reliable luck P.S. i haven't had a project with music or vid's

The problem is sharing files. Sharing files is optional, so don't. Also make sure to scan the files with your anti-virus program before you launch them.

Just once. That's because I didn't preview the song while it was downloading. I didn't get any viruses or anything. So I say, it's worth it!
