Eyeliner doesn't burn most people. You should talk to a doctor about this. Try using an eye shadow with a flat brush instead. Obviously you shouldn't be putting eyeliner on your inner eyelids.

Sometimes liqued eyeliner burns more because it leeks near or into your eye. also if you are using a stick eyeliner make sure it is soft other wise you it is like you are rubbing your eyes with sand paper! some brands with hard eyeliner are Wet and Wild and brands like that. but some cheep eyeliner brands are good. it just depends on the brand.

It's possible that you have an allergic reaction to that type of eyeliner. If you haven't done so, try using a different brand of eyeliner. If that doesn't work, I'd advise to stop using it and talk to your doctor about it.

Are you using liquid or a pencil? Sometimes the liquid will burn because it is a chemical that is going on your eye. This should not be hazardous though. If you are using a pencil, then it really shouldn't burn. If it is, you may be allergic to the compounds in the lead that in turn is irritating your eyes.

Eyeliner should not burn you at all. Perhaps it is your eye makeup remover? Or mascara? In any case, change to a different brand and see what happens. You might have to go to hypoallergenic brands or see a dermatologist or allergist.

There might be something in the eyeliner you're using that's causing an allergic reaction. It's not an uncommon thing

Perhaps you have allergies. You can stop the discomfort by discontinuing use. Switch to a hypo-allergenic brand of eyeliner or use an eyebrow pencil instead.

It maybe the chemical in the eyeliner that caused it. Change and try another brand.
