Dusty Baker does not play the games for the Cubs!! The players do. Once again the Cubs fans are looking for a scapegoat for their incompetent team's play. How sad. They can change managers, but that Will not make a difference in their play!!
I have to call them as I see them.

Their TV announcer, Bob Brenly, was the manager of the Diamondbacks when they won the World Series, so he is a good possibility. Also, Lou Pinellia isn't on a club now, he's with FOX. So basically a TV announcer. By the way, they've only had 3 injuries this year; Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, and Derrick Lee. And the Cubs sort of have to expect the first two to be injured, especially Kerry Wood, so it's not like it was a shock or anything.

I like warren1515's answer - the Scrubs blame everyone else for their ineptitude and will thus never have a championship (unlike the WORLD CHAMPION White Sox). They just keep going and going by bringing in retreads and selling out their dilapidated beer garden/stadium and don't give two hoots about putting a winning product on the field.
Heck, maybe they could get Lou Piniella.

The reason that the Cubs haven't done as well as expected isn't Dusty's fault. It's all the injuries. People who really know baseball should be saying stick with Dusty.

It doesnt matter. Cubs fans are so delusional they would go to the stadium to watch the cubs get crushed everyday regardless if they are trying to win or not. They might as well save the money and just get some idiot to manage them...oh wait, thats what theyre doing now
