Nostradamus predicts : First 10 minutes Portugal shows its superiority. Then referee gives a push by starting YELLOW cards against Portugal. Freekicks FOR Portugal only if they are FAR from the England team. For England, all NEAR the Portugal goal. A PENALTY WILL BE A CERTAINTY against Portugal and POrtugal one goal down!! But any penalty against England WILL BE IGNORED LIKE TODAY ARGENTINA'S. That is THE typical technique of referees to help a side in this case, England !! REMEMBER Nostradamus... denail of penalties against England and ONE penalty against Portugal will do the trick. None of this is England fans's fault. They are are lucky that this year all it is FIXED for England to WIN !! I don't give a toss about Argentina but they were cheated BIG time today. Tomorrow it will be Portugal.

"magsy" -- England played lots of matches in that world cup so if you say that one was the best match... it was so because Portugal was the opponent, right ? C'mon admit it !!

"TehehKitten" -- Tomorrow will not be "as far as England will go" -- With a little but effective help from referees England will go all the way. If you have two teams playing against each other and the referee makes it impossible for one side to do anything... then the other team will seem superb. LOL !!

"santa_cruz_I" -- on our faces ? OH NOT AGAIN... that's what happen in the Holland game... Figo had an egg-size bump on his FACE -- but can you Americans debate anything without insulting ? Stick around and see Portuguese and English throwing words at each other without them being rotten eggs --- we actually have a decent vocabulary !

"DJ" -- nice post but if you've noticed, the concern here is nothing against England. Yes, the British press have been asses, but the real issue is that Argentina were the BEST team in this world cup and they were cheated out of TWO penalties. Anyone who has his/her eyes open can see that favouritisms exist, blatant bias. The problem is NOT that bias is artificially shaping the outcome of the WC -- The danger is that the ones orchestrating it NO LONGER GIVE A DAMN WHETHER YOU NOTICE IT OR NOT... and that is downright DANGEROUS for the future of our beloved football !

It will be a very even match and if it doesn't get to P.K.'s the winner will only win by 1 or maybe 2 goals at the most. To be honest England have some of the greatest footballers in the known world but they just can't keep it together. I'm going a little more with Portugal on this one. Good players. Great coach. Oh yes one more thing, Argentina -v- Germany, there was no cheating involved, but even though it was very even I think Argentina was the better of the two today. All and all it was the result I thought it would be. I still don't think it was fixed by any chance though.

England will win, but that's as far as they'll go, what with having to play Brazil. I don't think France has much of a shot, but then again, I counted them out against Spain too, and look how that turned out. Portugal just didn't seem all that prepared for they're last match and England is going to pick them apart I think.
It'll be Brazil v Germany in the final match.

Alot of people have been talking about England about how they have been playing....some believe that they could've have played better...
So, I think it will be an interesting match....dunno who will win though..I'm guessing that if England play better than usual, then they should win.
P.S.. Maybe you wanna calm down on the whole 'FIXED' thing.
You must remember the refs don't see it like we do, we see it from every corner, every angle, and they have to make the decision there and then....the match was very rough especially coming from the Argentinians! There has been alot of yellow and red in this world cup...
Anyway....in the end....the best team won....GERMANY!

Relying on Nostradamus I would not....Prediction of the game and again too many times I hear the negativity..the excuses...the ifs the what ifs...yellow cards and ones opinions...does any one watch the games? and see how it is played?...England has won 3 games and drew one and came out top of their group, there games were cleaner, less fouling not just what I saw but the full broadcast and print out which can be found at Fifa.com...People truly hate not just England but the English?...Reading what the media has to say can be some what what they want to say not what is to be true, any idiot can figure that one out....This is the year that England will pass the quarter final mark and deservingly so...I know who Nostradamus is but remember what he says..ha...Please believe in the higher source God almighty or may be he has spoken to you already?..

Just all calm down. Enjoy the match, watch my beloved ENGLAND play a wonderful game. I was actually at the Portugal/ England match in '66 ..........Eusebio, played that day........ but Bobby Charlton and the lads beat them. It was the best match of the whole World Cup that year.
