Sure is, just do it for the music and not to be a rock star because your chances are slim at best, it's just the nature of the biz. I was in a working original band for 6 years, made 3 studio CD's, played about 40 nights a year and had a blast. One of the best times of my life and I don't regret a minute of it.

We even had a few bites from labels but nothing happened. Doesn't matter, it was worth it.

commerce interior the guitar for a drumkit and get a clean singer. I recommend diversifying the music you play. no person likes emo communities like MCR, so cover the songs of familiar bands like Bon Jovi, Chuck Berry, the Beatles, the sea coast Boys, green Day, and the Ramones. in case you go with human beings to mosh at your gigs, write exciting (and quickly) songs approximately warm rods, chicks, and getting stoned/decrease than the impression of alcohol

I've been in a band for some years now: it can be fun but it has it's bad times. It is expensive, time consuming, and can be a headache....Love it but not worth it.

so long as you and your bandmates agree that you're not playing because of the money and you really love your art, then go for it!
