I believe one of the players from the Argentinian team ran across the pitch and thumped one of the officials from FIFA. The players also from both teams got involved in a rumpas. Not good really, they are making themselves as bad, if not worse than football hooligans! Shocking scenes on the news.

The whole thing started because Cruz would flip the Germans off (he would kiss his outstretched middle finger) after every single Argentinian penalty kick that went in. Borroski (GER) did the same after his penalty kick and it pissed the players off even more when they lost. The unused substitute Leandro Cufre (ARG) got his tall blond German players mixed-up and ended up kicking Per Mertesacker (GER) in the crotch after his team lost, thereby starting the brawl on the field. Oliver Beerhoff was trying to shield his players after Mertesacker went down and ended up getting some of the Argentinian frustration focused on him.

I have no idea. I was trying to figure it out.. even the sports announcer didn't know what was going on. I assume it has something to do with the game... maybe about the penalty the Argentians say they deserve or maybe some of the players fought ....

Argentina lost becasue they're losers often, notwithstanding the problem is their denial and nasty atittude in existence and incredibly in the course of football. They lost even concept they bragged and said as themselves good, proving it incorrect on the end even after a beatiful objective. so that they ought to qui taking under consideration themselves properly worth of a worldcup.

This article explains what happened, but it doesn't say why. At the time I thought that maybe Argentina thought that Lehmann moved forward too early on the PK attempt, but I've seen no official word as to what the Argentines were angry about.

During halftime of Italy-Ukraine, they said that someone had stepped on Bierhoff, the German player. They didnt say who stepped on him, but I would assume that either it was an Argentina player, or that the Germans THOUGHT it was an Argentina player. That is what I know.
