A few options:

1) Create a share-network from your laptop to PC. Share the music folder from your PC so you can open it up v.i.a. laptop and begin the transfer.

2) Transfer your files from the PC to an external USB hard drive (external hard drive, thumb drive, etc.).

Hope this helps.

There are few ways:

a) let your windows xp/2000/98 share them together. Once they are shared, you can simply copy and paste what ever you want from one to another

b) Do your laptop and your pc have usb port ? If yes, you can simply connect them tp gether with a usd cable. Once they are connected, both their hard disks sit beside each other, so you simply drag and drop each data from one to another

ok to transfer any thing from a old computer to new computer - you need to have a cable - that you can connect the pc to laptop and then use a software (search from google - how to transfer files from one computer to another) - ok there is a free trail vesion available - and then you can transfer all the data from one computer to another - or use my network place and configure the connection and you can transfer the files. any type.
