It depends who the Republicans choose and who the Democrats choose. And if it's close enough, it could depend on whether or not the Democrats harass Green Party volunteers like they did in 2004 to keep Nader off the ballots.

Very good since the Democraps are intent on running more of the tired same old political jokes like Kerry and Hillary. Lieberman might have a chance but hard core Democraps will not back him since he is not rabid enough and hard core Repugnicans will not vote for a Democrap. Independents will associate him with the political machine, as such he has no chance with them.

If the Democraps do not come up with somebody with common sense in a hurry they will be handing the election over to the Repugnicans. People are taxed to death. Terrorism is a real threat to ours and our children's lives. Illegal imigration is choking the nation. People want affordable health care. Yet the answer to all of these and more is more Gov, more taxes and to bring more illegals over and give them American jobs. The Democrap idea about terrorism is to placicate them. This did not work with Hitler, did not work with Stalin in fact it has never worked in history. Placicating an enemy can only delay the inevitable. It encourages agression. The Democraps have no answer, don't even realize how important this is.

The Democraps on top of wanting to tax us to death also want to take our cars from us, take the guns out of the hands of the people and give our money to nations that hate us. The complete and total lack of touch with reality is very disturbing. Anybody who is not rabidly enthralled with the Democraptic party is disgusted by it's blatent favortism, vote buying and complete lack of courage. The Democraps are the part of talk not action.

So as tired as the people are of the Repugnicans. The Democraps just keep putting them back in power with being even farther out of touch than the Repugnicans and completely impractical about solutions.

Who would win instantly would be a real independent. Perot until he turned out to be Psychotic agent for the Democraps was in a posisition to seriously challenge for president. Perot is not exaclty a visage of charm. If he could win, a real Independent could blow both parties off the ballot.

Chances are its fairly good and looking better all the time. With the mis-steps by the Left it plays into the Republican parties hand. If they the Dems keep it up the public will realize they don't care about America only hate Bush at all costs. Its sad because we need a strong 2 party system to have our nation work the way it should

I'm sure many people will answer this VERY differently, but I'm speaking from an unbiased point of view: considering that the Bush administration is taking so much heat from the mainstream media and his approval rating has plummeted since the beginning of the war, it might be difficult for the Republican party to win again. Although you do have to consider that Bush won his second term, which was well after the war was at its peak, so it makes you wonder who CNN is really polling when they take the approval rating percentage.

probably pretty good...more than 50% of the voting public identifies more with conservative "values." Those who have began to sway in their support do so because they don't like Bush, and many Republicans don't. Look at his approval rating. But that doesn't mean a charasmatic and qualified candidate couldn't change minds about Bush's successor.

It all is up to the DEMs and who they put up to run. They could have had it 2 times.
If they put up some one that is better than the last two then the Dems have a good chance. but if Hillery gets it. Ross Perot would have a better chance running in a dress yelling I am a little girl see me dance.
