Tough but cool question..
I'd just want to control the weather in general, but I doubt if that's really an element..
I shall choose lightning. But only because electricity wasn't an option. I'd really love to control electricity and then use it to hack into anything I like. I could cause international security breaches. *cackles*

hard question but i would probably go with earth. You get to control all mother nature. Water, thunder, lightning, ect. Anything invloving nature which is pretty much everything.

Isnt Thunder a sound? anyways i would choose Lighting, no electric bills!!!! I could also shock anyone thats botherin me, and i would make lots of money givin electrictiy.

I'm gonna choose Thunder & Lightening cus well then I would pick up a hammer and call myself Thor..God thunder and smack people with my hammer and run away and just when there gonna catch me send lightening bolts down to destory them.!!!!!!! HAHAHAH BOW BEFORE THOR !!!!!!

Fire, with lighting being a close second. Light has some cool posibilties, illusions, lasers, ect. But, yeah, fire.
