Italy without a doubt. They thrashed Ukraine easily. Their defence just wont let a ball go into their box so germany will have to rely on podolski. Podolski's kicks as good as they are might just penatrate the dense penalty area but Buffon (most expensive goalie) would stop them. Also the Italians would be sure to block off Klose from any headers. Germany can't score without those to key players. Italy was able to muster 3 goals on Ukraine all using different techniques. One was a far shot and the other was a cross and a third one was a set piece(corner). Germany just dont have the defensive strength to stop the Italians ( 4-1 loss in March)

Germany. Germany has beaten Argentina, one of the best teams out there (did you see Maxi Rodriguez in ARG vs. MEX?). Italy is good, but considering they tied the United States....? Germany has been playing unbelievably, their abilities have shined. Italy has been playing well, but not unbelievably well...they didn't even get all 9 points in the teams, which Germany has done. The only team that can even be close to comparing with them is Brazil, who they will face in the finals. Germany wins 2-1.

tough.. Germany has stronger players but Italy has the quicker ones.. i would say Germany but it would be a close one.. maybe heading into penalty period
