First of all I wouldn't ask the spaceship anything, because I would expect it not to be an intelligent form of life. But if the occupants came out and I were able to communicate with them I'd ask them about the spaceship, like how many milesa gallon it did, how fast it could go and whether it had reclining seats. Then I'd ask them where they were going next and was there any possibility they could drop me off somewhere near Nelson NZ

To kindly refrain from doing so again. I've spent quite a bit of time on my garden, and I don't need aliens landing all over it and killing the plants.

firstly i would want to know if it was flying using something that was enviromently friendly...all because they havent come from earth...doesnt mean they cant look after it, does it?! then i think as a good will gesture, i would have 2 offer my 3 kids to them...since the kids are acting like complete brats im not even sure the aliens would want to look after them!!
