when we have playstations,computers and internet,music,t.v,dvds,books,so many things to do and we complain that we are bored.
Is too much technology just too much...

Because with all that technology, it becomes part of a routine, banal and plain. Also, much of this technology is intent on bombarding us with stimulation, and so the brain just overloads and gives in. Most toys now are designed for an inflexible and single purpose, and becomes useless for anything else, such as Playstations and DVDs. You'd probably better off being given a box, a piece of rope or some old clothes. This would then encourage creative skills, such as storytelling and pretend play.

because were on too much of a good thing, the only thing i had when i was a kid was my commadore 64 shitty comp and my barbies, my kids say they are bored with a vcr, a dvd player, a pc and a stereo in their bedroom, if only i had that at the ages of 7 and 9

I agree. They're not bored they're boring.
They lack the imagination to entertain themselves. I also agree that it's because we have playstations,computers and internet,music,t.v,dvds,books etc

Coz Boredom tends 2 bring the worse outta people.
If it's a bad day the boredom sets in fairly quickly, 2 quickly!

All the technology has made it where we can't think for ourselves. So we are a bunch of whining little babies. Me I never really get bored, just in bed.

we wont get bored when technology playstion 3 comes out but we just have to wait till november till it comes out
