I love it's proximity to the mountains, love the Stampede, love the Foothills Hospital(they saved my daughters life). What do I hate? The drivers. Calgary has some of the worst drivers in Canada. Although I hear Ontario does too.

Bad traffic. Too busy. People are always in a rush. No parking downtown, unless you're independently wealthy. New subdivisions every 3 weeks. Roads keep changing. Too close to the mountains - transcanada is a parking lot on weekends. Noisy. Too many newcomers with no roots in the community. House prices.

I dread returning to visit.

Winter lasts way too long, construction is causing havoc in traffic...that's why I hate it.
Why I love it? It's a friendly growing city with more and more things to do and see everyday. It has the smaller city feel with all the benefits of a huge city.
