My dear, you have "dropped", and are in the beginning stages of labor!! The pressure you are feeling is the baby pressing down on your pelvic area, and sciatic nerves. You need to contact your DR and other contact persons right away--it is as they say--"TIME"!! For the safety of you and the baby, you should not try walking anywhere right now though, falling could be very dangerous. If you cannot get a hold of necessary people--you may need to call 911. Congrats and good luck!

Your in the home stretch (although probably not within hours). Your body is getting ready for the baby to pass through and it is very uncomfortable, that's all. I actually walked around like that for 3 weeks with my second, but my third one just dropped like a ton of bricks and was born 12 hours later. Everybody is different and you won't know if you are one of those lucky people who deliver quickly or one of those people who deliver slowly. You will just have to wait to find out. I wouldn't worry about calling 911. Just make sure that your bag is packed and everybody is ready to go at a moments notice.
Congratulations and best of luck to you.

Yep I have been there! Three times! You are just getting to the end. My mom (who had nine children) told me that pregnancy is 8 months PLUS one year. Meaning that the last month feels like one year!! I remember telling someone when I was 9 months pregnant with my first that God makes the last few weeks SOOOO misrable that you are willing to go through any amount of pain (aka labor) to get it over with :) hang in there. Your almost there.

Yes, it's your pelvic joints separating and becoming wider...preparing for the birth of your baby. Usually means labor an delivery is near. Good luck!

Sounds like the baby has dropped.
Try doing some Dromedary Droops for some temporary relief:

Oh yeah, I remember that all too well! I was the same way for the last month of my last pregnancy. Just lay around and take it easy as much as you can, pretty soon you won't be able to! Everything is getting ready for your baby to be born, that's why it hurts so bad.

YES! I thought my legs were broken LOL (not truely broken)
All that it is, is your hips spreading for the big day! Have to make room for the baby's head :)
Also happens after the baby, like within a month when they come back together some.
Good luck- hope your baby is gorgeous and healthy!
