Why don't people pay attention to their grammar when they ask questions on this site?

In my opinion, the reason that people do this is because a majority of others use poor grammar, so it has basically become accepted over time. It annoys the heck out of me personally, but I guess society as a whole is very lazy and that will tend to be reflected on sites like this.

I don't know but it sure does get ridiculous. Some are either uneducated or don't care about their ignorance. What bothers me is the vile language used by some of the people on here which I view as classless!

Because they either try to type too fast or never payed attention in school. They don't even click the spell check link.

Because, English language is not mother tongue for many users across the world, we have to appreciate their efforts rather than blaming them.
When you use some other language other than your mother tongue you will experience this.
Communication needs no language, grammar is noise/ barrier in communication.

That is one great question. I have often wondered the same. One would think with the preview and check spelling features, it would be better, but I guess some people don't care.

First of all, I want to thank you for noticing all of the people using shortcuts for words. Also, not everyone can understand the shortcuts, so not everyone can help you on your question.

Honestly, I don't think many of them know any better. My problem is spelling. If there's a spell check right there, why don't they use it? That's just plain laziness and if they're too lazy to do that......

Because most of them are pre-teens that just don't care. And the ones that are older and should know better, just aren't smart enough.
