Probably because to many americans are afraid of losing their jobs. Like you know when people went to the Gay pride thing or the premire of the Dinci Code to complain. And most of the people were laid of from work, it sends a message to employees. Its just my opinion.

Even if we did, it wouldn't make a difference. With the cost of healthcare rising, the govt. could never afford to provide it for all free of charge. sad but true.
