I have seen at Nascar events where you can rent race scanners, but they are normally $75 for the weekend with a $500 deposite.
I have seen them for around $150 to buy on ebay, just was wondering there was a better place.

You can buy a simple Radio Shack police/fire scanner. Essentially the same thing, but a much lower price.

E bay is your best bet. Anything you want at the track is going to cost you an arm and a leg and your mortgage so stick with online for right now bro
