um no....I used to be one. I'll tell you its not only annoying for the people you call, but its annoying for you too. lol.

I personally don't care for them. They really don't take no for answer very well. Before the do not call thing came out my husband took a call from a telemarketer. It was for an extended warranty on our car. He talked to the guy for over an hour. Finally I got on the phone and told the guy we were not interested. He kept telling my husband was interested. I had to explain to this man that my husband can't say no to any one. He was really pissed. Even told me I was a bit**. What ever. Any way until the do not call thing came about I wouldn't let my hubby answer the phone if it was an 800 number or unavailable showed up on the caller id. Now, the really crazy telemarketing story. I was at work and one called. This time it was for magazines. That telemarketer was able to get him to buy over $600.00 in magazine subscriptions!!! I could have killed him, but we got it down to only 2 subscriptions eventually.

no. a long time ago a telemarketer called and i dont remember for what company but all i could remember was that she started telling me some personal things about her husband and sticking his d*** in some mayo because she wouldnt give out. why would she tell that to a complete stranger but the crazier thing was that she asked if i had a husband or a boy friend and if he did anything like that ( no and no ).

it isn't so much that i do not like or dislike them,i do understand that this is the way they make a living,however they do seem to call when it is very inconvenient,,,,so,i often answer the phone,which they ask if the lady of the house is in,i say yes,let me go get her,then i put the phone down and go about my business.i assume after some time they must hang up,and they never call back.remember its their dime.

Only when they have a cute or sexy voice. Females ofcourse. Since they bothered me eaither while im eating or sleeping, if it's a cute girls voice, I start asking them question. Personal questions. Some of them usually hang up on me which is pretty strange since it's supposed to be the other way around.

I like to talk to them and make fun of them. One time this guy called and told me that my name was getting put in some drawing and then I just started talking to him and flirting and it was so funny. HE said that I sounded really hot and that he wished he lived by me so he could take me on a date. When he said that I said well it was nice telling to you but I have to go.

It's fun to get them off of their script. My husband keeps them talking for a few minutes. He askes why they don't get paid more, and why their boss is such a jerk. The longer they talk to someone the more frustrated they seem to get. I guess it's because most of their phone calls are being monitored.
