You know what babe girl. It does phase a man when his woman breaks up with him.
The only difference is that we sulk and cry about it for a while (Some girls ) hope that the guys comes to his senses and ask them back..
See guy have figured out that you know what this means that I am single and their are 50 million other women out there that need someone to love them. The ego wouldn't let them take it anyway. That is why they don't stay single for long. We need to try to do the same thing.

It's always dangerous to generalize about men, women, or any other set of peope. Many men have suffered broken hearts after being "dumped" by a woman, and many of them have shown their pain to people they trust. Men, like women, usually do not show their deeper feelings to people they don't trust. Certainly, the woman who broke up with him would likely fall in the category of "people not to trust". On the other hand, many men are uncomfortable showing vulnerable feelings and do their best to bottle them up inside. They ultimately pay a high price for this in terms of mental, physical, and relationship health. They do this because they were taught that that's what men are "supposed" to do. It's not easy to change, but some do. It often takes alot of life experience and maybe some therapy.

Ever seen a 5 year old boy start crying at a park or play ground? What did you hear his relative say? "You're a big boy now. Big boys don't cry."
It's a society thing. Men are supposed to be strong. Plus, some of them are just scum and they really don't care. But the ones that are sensitive just can't show it because of their friends, you, or because they just can't. Don't hate them for it.

Men are taught that emotional vulnerability is a sign of weakness from a very young age. Bullies pick on the kids that will cry.
Translate to young adulthood, and you can extrapolate why. "Never show weakness!"
Or, consider another reason...he really doesn't miss you at all.

Pure bravado. It is not as socially acceptable for a man to show emotions such as sadness or crying as it is a woman because men are raised to believe it is a sign of weakness.

What's the point.
Why agonize over something that you can't do anything about.
If there was a chance of putting the relationship back together then we might get emotional. But you're talking spilled milk, nothing to do but get more.
Just a male view.

since they were little boys they were trained not to have/show emotions, because "men don't cry". but i've read/heard that men take it harder than women do during a break up. i believe it, i just with they would show it. or atleast show some emotion during the relationship!!

Because it usually doesn't phase us. Most women aren't worth feeling bad about losing, unless the sex was really really good.
