Cleveland has a very small Little Italy (East side, near museums) but great restaurants there. My favorite is called Trattoria. There is an amazing glass shop a block away that will make you fearful the whole time of sneezing. The Flats is fun, you have Rock Bottom (which is a chain) or try B-W-3 for wings. If you love food head to the West Side Market and see just how much fresh meat, seafood, bakeries, and produce they can cram in there.
Have a great weekend!

Cleveland Chop House, downtown. Wonderful food and they brew all of their own beer in-house. Be prepared to pay for it, but is well worth the price!

Vivo is very good. It's outside the Renascence Hotel. Also, there is Fat Fish Blue on Ontario. Very neat atmosphere and very good food. Winking Lizard is more bar-like, but delicious nonetheless. Also, in the bar-like category is Panini's. They're good for lunch.

if you're looking for fancy (and $$$), try sans souci in the renaissance hotel (french/mediterranean)... otherwise just head to the warehouse district and follow your nose.
