Last time I check, a singer doesnt make people laugh when they perform. Usually stand up comedy or a comedians do that. I always laughed when I see taylor HIcks on stage performing. I cannot believe he make it to the finals let alone winning the damn thing. You people can say he's unique and everything but you gotta have some sense in you to see that this guy is a joke. Even SNL and Mad TV made fun of him. The never make fun of any other American Idol winners. This guy is an easy target for comedians. It shows what this world has come to. They dont look for real talent, they look for a side show so they can squeezed the money out of us consumers. You taylor hicks fans can argue that I dont understand his kind of music. It's not the music that bothers me, it's the whole package.

This was the first American Idol I've watched and I thought he sucked! At first I thought he'd had a stroke or something when I saw him as he thinks he's hilarious when he does that stupid walk (whats with that?!) and I think they're was better singers then Taylor so its a real shame that he won it, people must have been really drunk that night when they voted for him!

He under no circumstances became "the guy". Kelly Pickler has been considered better than Taylor. Hicks merely jumps round and bends over like he has a discomfort in his back. He certain won't be able to sing. ok. McPhee became much better - yet no longer large. American Idol per se isn't a shaggy dog tale, yet Hicks certain became.

i cant believe how some people just have to attack those who have made it big on mainly ridiculous grounds..if taylor hicks made you laugh then so be it..but he did not win because he made people laugh he won because he has a tremendous voice and that clearly showed in his performances...and you better get your facts straight about snl making fun of idol winners...i remember sketches making fun of ruben stoddard and clay aiken for example...everyone is entitled to an opinion but to say taylor hicks has no talent is a bit of a stretch and is nothing more than meaness in its purest form

Taylor Hicks Sucks big time. Have you seen his new ford commercial? It's more of a joke than a commercial. I totally thought he should have been cut way before the finals, I can't believe he won either!! I think that he paid the judges, it's the only logical explanation.

Nah I just think narrow minded punks like yourself think he's funny. There's nothing funny in my eyes. He can sing and entertain, that's what an American Idol requires. At least he wasnt happy that Eliott Yamin got booted off like Katharine McPhee!

I don't watch American Idol because it has gotten to be such BS. I saw this guy in the commercials and it blew my mind, because he looks like a middle aged has been. I mean more power to him and all--but wow. What a bizarre choice.

you got your opinion, I got mine I love him and yes, American Idol can be a bit much, but with good singers the ending is always worth watching. Not to mention the beginning (auditions), damn funny in my opinion.

I think the whole American Idol thing is rubbish. The UK version was much better.
