"hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"
I can see the use of a site such as dontdatehimgirl,
but considering woman love to gossip and talk trash about EACH other, what's to stop a girl from posting trash about someone even if the breakup was not his fault(sometimes things just don't work out, and no one is to blame) Yes, some men are pigs, cheaters, abusers, etc, but also we have our share of female prima donnas, self-proclaimed diva's/princesses, bad attitude, etc, and woman who use men.
Any thoughts, please?

I am astonished at these sexist replies. I think both men and women can be vindictive. It all depends on their personality. I am not the vindictive type, yet I have met men that are. Why are you even asking this question? The only thing answers will prove are people's opinions.

Oh yes, women are far more vindictive after a break up-just ask my ex.
Sometimes it's deserved, and unfortunately, sometimes other men have to pay for the mistakes a few made. It's a double standard, though. Because some of us have to pay for the image people create. A lot of guys think most women are supposed to be sluts, dress like whores, care about their appearance 24/7, be obedient, etc, etc, etc and I'm sorry we're not all like that, so it comes as a shock, just the same when a good man comes along it's a shock to some women, and they keep checking to see if he's still there, or if he's faking.

As much as I hate to say negative things about either sex (esp my own) I have to say that I do believe, that women are more likely to be vindictive than men...probably because women tend to be more emotional than men (this is generally speaking, of course) and one way a lot of people get over emotional pain, is to turn it to anger...it's harder to miss someone and pine for them, when you're totally PO'd at them...but some people don't handle anger well, and take it too far...
Now, the scenario you mention, can and does happen in both directions...relationships end, simply because the couple wasn't a good match, and the next thing you know one or the other (or both) of them are talking trash and spreading lies, or actually doing ugly things to one another (to make themselves feel better, or to punish the other person for not wanting to be with them any longer)...
It's totally childish behavior, not exclusive to women, but probably participated in more by women than men...some women want the person who 'hurt' them, to hurt as badly as they do...or worse...

Yes, women to tend to be more vindictive. Men are more physical oriented, so they just go find the next girl. Women, on the other hand, are emotion oriented and can hold a grudge for a long time. People in general do not want to take responsibility for their own mistakes and so tend to blame others. Women are just more likely to act upon it.

Its usually just the chemistry just breaks down between two people. Often poverty is the straw that breaks the back. Anyone posting untrue "trash" about anyone should be put in jail for slander in my opinion. Usually men and women are bad in different ways and both are usually to blame. It takes two to make it work, it takes two to make it fail too. Men and women "use" each other, if they both see whats happening , it can be really good. If not, its usually bad.

Ever met one? Yes, women can be surprisingly venomous after a breakup. Some will do things like sleep with your friends just to hurt you. Not all women though. It's best to plan for the worst, and hope for the best.
I ain't sayin she's a gold digger...

If the guy did do something like cheat, abuse, or some other unforgiveable crime then yes, he deserves the wrath of a woman, but if its just because she's a over bearing b!@# then (lol) thumbs up for him for ditchin' her.
Me being who I am, I have a tendancy to be very vengful if his actions warrant some 'wrath'.
All that just to say its a case by case basis.

Sometimes it seems that way. But it usually the one who feels cheated or mistreated who vents the wrath.
